What is a Moses basket used for?
A moses basket is portable, comfortable, safe and secure place for your newborn to rest or sleep
What are the dimensions of the actual basket?
Our moses basket measures approximately 31" x 15" x 9"
How many months and to what weight can my baby be in a Moses basket?
We suggest up to 4 months, 18 pounds or if the baby can push up & roll over
What is the difference between the "comforter" and the "receiving blanket"?
The comforter is filled with poly batting and measures 21" x 29". Our receiving blankets are not filled and measures 30" x 40"
What is the protective netting found in the pocket with the extra sheet used for?
The protective netting was created to use over the basket to keep mosquitoes and other bugs from your baby. Another great use is to keep pets or other children from touch the newborn baby directly
How do I remove and wash my Wendy Anne or Cozy Baby moses basket bedding?
First- unscrew the two knobs from each side of the basket and remove the hood carefully. Untie all ties under the handles, remove pillow, comforter and mattress, and then carefully remove cover from the basket.
How do I clean the Moses basket?
We suggest using a clean cloth with mild soap and water to clean the surface where basket is dirty. Leave basket uncovered to air dry. Do not put cover back on until basket is completely dry.
What part of the Wendy Anne or Cozy Baby Moses basket can I expect to be "organic"?
The ivory velour, ivory jersey fabrics and the cotton fibers used in the futon are the organic components to our Wendy Anne and Cozy Baby moses baskets. These components includes: cover, lined hood, receiving blanket, sheets, and cotton fiber filled futon which comes with both baskets. The basket is hand woven and made from natural maize/corn husk.
Can I purchase individual pieces for any of my Wendy Anne products?
Yes, we do sell sheets, receiving blankets and "bedding only" for the moses baskets. We do not sell individual bedding piece at this time.
Can I purchase replacement parts for my Wendy Anne moses basket?
Yes. Mattresses, futons, hoops and knobs are available for replacement only on the Wendy Anne or Cozy Baby moses baskets. Hoops and additional screws for the moses basket stands are also available. Please email us with your request and a photo (if possible) of the problem to info@wendyanne.com
How should I store my Wendy Anne or Cozy Baby moses basket after I am finished using it for my baby?
Your moses basket comes complete with a plastic zipper storage bag. Place basket back in bag and store in a cool dry place. We suggest passing you moses basket on to a family member who might want to use it, our hope is it will become your "families heirloom" like it was with ours. If you do not have a bag or need an extra zipper bag they are available for purchase on our website.
What size bassinet fits the Wendy Anne bassinet bedding?
We use Badger Bassinets and the approximate overall measurements 33"x 24"x40"
What size cradle fits the Wendy Anne cradle bedding?
Any cradle measuring 18" x 36"x 7". The bedding should be able to tie on the top and the bottom of the cradle to keep bedding in place while in use. Ties are every 18" around the top and bottom of bumper.
How do I wash or care for my Shnuggy Baby blanket?
We suggest hand washing if possible and air dry to keep the shape of the swirly-curly look of your Shnuggy blanket. If you use a washing machine, please use the delicate cycle, cool water and very mild soap. Air dry or tumble on very low heat.
